Vintage mid century abalone shell tray and matching napkin holder set in deep red lucite resin. The tray measures a generous 8 by 8 inches, with an upright napkin holder that keeps cocktail or dinner napkins neat and upright on the table or bar.Both pieces are embedded with genuine iridescent abalone and mother of pearl shell chips that flash green, blue, and pink against the rich red ground. The color is vivid and the shell work is the real draw, with no two pieces alike.Distributed by Colorflo Decorator Products, with the original maker's mark on the underside.
