Here's a complete edition of the Wheeler Dealer series of games. Produced in 1980, The Game of Clewiston (Florida) celebrates America's Sweetest Town, home of the Sugar Bowl and a top agriculture producer. The playing board and cards celebrate local landmarks, people, and businesses. Game play is similar to Monopoly though with a commodities trading focus. Wheeler Dealer produced these games in dozens of regions, though with limited production runs, making them difficult to find for a particular town, especially in this condition.Complete and Unused: While open box, the internal components have never been played with, as the cards (Wheeler Dealer and Property Title) are still attached to their printed sheet. Includes the gameboard, 6 playing tokens, a pair of dice, instructions, a calculator card, and a history sheet on Clewiston, FL.) The play money is rubber banded and appears complete/unused, though I have not counted all $2.5 million (and can not guarantee it). This board game is like a time capsule of 1980's local businesses, making it a find Florida history enthusiasts or collectors of local games! Condition: While the game cards have not been detached, there are several areas where the perforation has separated due to handling. The game board has a warp due to age/storage (see last photo) though is otherwise solid with bright, clean graphics. The box (lower cardboard, upper plastic) shows shelf wear, including scratches, dirt, creases, indents, split corners, and tape remnants. One corner of the plastic has a tear. This no longer has the original cellophane though does include the Wheeler Dealer branding sticker.Shipping: Items are carefully padded and packed to survive shipping. Upgraded service and insurance provided as feasible. Certain locations (such as HI or AK) or P.O. boxes may incur additional cost. Contact me for details or with any specific shipping needs.Returns: Vintage items naturally show wear or other signs of prior use. Please review the listing and photos closely to assess condition. To keep prices low, I'm unable to accept returns unless an item significantly differs from the description.
