The volume was issued as a licensed reprint edition produced by official arrangement with Duell, Sloan & Pearce, Inc.Wartime Paper Quality: In 1946, American publishers were still dealing with post-WWII paper rationing and using high-acid wood pulpDetailed Condition Report:Binding & Cover: The original minimalist plain grey cloth boards are structurally sound. The spine features clear, bold, legible printed text. The boards are square with only very minor, natural softening at the corner tips and spine edges from light shelving. The inner hinges and gutters are completely tight, strong, and uncracked.Pages & Interior: The interior text block is exceptionally clean, bright, and firmly bound. The pages feature a light, natural cream age-toning but are entirely free of unsightly foxing, writing, highlighting, library stamps (Non-Ex Libris), or moisture stains.
