Very good pre-owned condition of each of the items. Back of postcards has some fading and staining. Poster was folded and shows creases. See photos for more details.This vintage travel ephemera archive captures the peak of the 1960s Spanish cultural tourism boom, anchored by a rare "provenance set" from an attended event on Monday, April 11, 1966, at the historic Plaza de Toros Monumental de Barcelona. The centerpiece of the collection is an original venue poster packet highlighting a legendary lineup of iconic mid-century matadors, including Fermín Murillo, Paco Camino, and international pop-culture superstar Manuel Benítez "El Cordobés". The poster is paired with two matching, consecutive grandstand ticket stubs for seats 54 and 55 in the premium, highly prestigious Grada 10 Sombra (shaded) grandstand section. The poster is large, approx 20 x 38.5 in.Rounding out this lot are seven unwritten action postcards of El Cordobés, a mid-1960s Barcelona-printed Toros: Visión Gráfica photo booklet by Jaime Rosell (Dept. Legal: B-11617-VII), and a 1959 English-language tourist guide pamphlet by Editorial Collado of Madrid (Deposito legal M.7398-59) originally priced at 30 pesetas.
