The Book: Good condition. The cloth binding is tight, sturdy, and clean. Pages are crisp and clean throughout. No writing, highlighting, or missing pages. The Insert: Pristine condition. The folded 4-page Book-of-the-Month Club News report by John P. Marquand is well-preserved with no paper browning, toning, or crisping along the edges. The Dust Jacket: Fair condition. Shows characteristic vintage edge wear, minor fraying, and small holes along the spine/binding hinges. It features the internal publisher's code (* 573) on the rear panel. It is completely intact and still retains vibrant color.
