This is one of those pieces that's hard to put down once you start turning it in the light.It's a natural crystal opal rough from Lightning Ridge, Australia, with a thick purple color bar running through the stone. The crystal is nice and clean, and the purple flashes shift from deep violet to brighter electric tones as you move it.At 11 mm thick, this is the kind of rough that's becoming harder to find.
