This one-of-a-kind pendant features a 29.2-carat Australian opalized belemnite fossil with natural violet-purple play-of-color. Its elongated fossil shape has been preserved so the fossil shape can be admired.The handmade sterling silver setting is designed so the belemnite can be removed and examined from every side. This allows you to appreciate its full form, natural inclusions, and flashes of color from different viewing angles—not just the face visible while worn.I handmade the setting in my Juneau, Alaska studio.
