Vintage / Excellent Condition (The cobalt blue velvet interior is exceptionally clean, immaculate, and like-new. The exterior brass and copper show a beautiful, authentic aged patina. This Art Deco revival style pillow-shaped metal minaudière clutch dates back to circa 1985 and boasts a fascinating East Coast boutique history. It was originally curated and retailed by "Table of Contents," an upscale luxury gift and style boutique that operated out of Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. The exterior of the purse features detailed floral scrollwork embossed into solid brass and copper panels. The upper flap is uniquely embellished with custom texturing and multi-colored sparkling crystals and rhinestones, offering an elegant contrast against the warm metallic tones. The real highlight is inside: the purse opens via a decorative top latch to a breathtaking, deep cobalt blue velvet lining that has been incredibly well-preserved over the decades. It comes complete with a long gold-tone metallic link chain to wear comfortably as a crossbody or shoulder bag.
