Up for auction or purchase is a beautiful, highly collectible vintage 1946 McCoy Art Pottery Tea Set in the iconic Pine Cone pattern. Produced by the Nelson McCoy Pottery Company, this set features a gorgeous matte/glossy light mint green base accented with rich brown hand-painted details along the raised pine boughs and pine cones. Its distinctive Art Deco structural lines and elegant elongated teapot handle make it a standout addition to any mid-century modern or rustic cabin decor. Includes lidded teapot (9.75" length spout to handle x 6.5" height), creamer pitcher (5.75" length x 3 height), and open sugar bowl (5.25" handle to handle, 3.25" width, and 3" height). This is a pre-owned vintage set nearly 80 years old. There is crazing consistent with authentic mid-century pottery. There is a very small chip (picture #9) at the bottom of the pitcher if you're looking at it straight on. It's partially on the curve of the edge, so its not very noticeable. All pieces features the classic raised embossed "McCoy" signature mark on the underside of the base.
