Vintage Chinese cloisonné enamel vase made by the Jingfa Beijing Enamel Factory (sticker still on base), features an intricate floral design. The body of the vase is decorated with a delicate cream/beige geometric diaper background, beautifully contrasted by winding plum blossom branches, pink flowers, and a traditional deep blue scholar's rock at the base. The neck and foot feature vibrant ruyi border accents. Crafted with the traditional wire-and-enamel technique over a heavy solid brass body. This piece displays the wonderful craftsmanship characteristic of mid-to-late 20th-century Chinese export art. Measures 8 1/4" tall, 5" wide, 2 1/2" at the top opening, and 3" at the base. Excellent vintage condition. The enamel colors remain bright, vibrant, and highly detailed. No chips, cracks, or missing enamel sections. The brass rim and base show a natural vintage patina and some wear consistent with age. Please see the photos for details.
