Vintage 1929 "Heller's Secrets of Meat Curing and Sausage Making" (8th Edition) A fascinating piece of historical butchery and culinary history! Published by B. Heller & Company (Chicago, IL) in 1929, this Eighth Edition standard guide covers everything from slaughtering and dressing meat animals to smokehouse operation, brine curing formulas, and commercial sausage recipes. Filled with vintage technical illustrations, detailed process steps, and historical trade information. Includes: Original B. Heller & Company vintage business card taped to the front endpaper. Condition Details: Covers & Spine: Bright red textured cloth boards with bold gilt lettering on the front cover and spine. Clean condition with light shelf wear to corners and spine ends. Binding: Solid, tight, and intact throughout. Pages & Interior: Interior pages are clean, crisp, and fully legible with minimal toning given its age. No major tears or missing pages.
