Offered for your consideration is a lovely hand-painted Stangl Pottery figurine featuring a pair of Baltimore Orioles. Produced in Trenton, New Jersey, Stangl birds are celebrated for their hand-carved details and unique, artist-driven color applications. This piece features vibrant yellow and orange tones with a high-gloss finish, perched on a classic blue-tinted tree stump. Brand: Stangl Pottery Model: Baltimore Orioles (#3402D) Artist Mark: Hand-signed "TVF" on the base with the Stangl Pottery Birds oval stamp. Size: Approx. 6" H x 4.5" W. Condition Note (Please Read): This piece is being sold as-is due to some previous repairs and minor wear common with vintage pottery: Repairs: There is a visible, glued-back repair on the green leaf and branch structure near the base (see photos 10, 11, and 12). Chips: There is a small chip on the tip of the beak on the upper bird (photo 13) and a chip on the tail feather of the lower bird (photo 14). Despite these flaws, the piece displays beautifully with very little crazing and bright, bold colors.
