Rare Antique 3-Piece Painted Glass Garniture Set – Yost Electric Table Lamp & Twin Vases Enhance your collection with this gorgeous, authentic 3-piece antique vanity or mantle set from the circa 1920s. This set includes a central electric table lamp and two matching flanking mantle vases. Each piece features a highly raised, molded three-dimensional design of a songbird (robin/cardinal) perched among trailing grapevines, clusters of grapes, and broad autumn leaves. Unlike common chalkware copies, these are crafted from heavy, thick molded glass. The exteriors feature a factory-applied, deeply textured charcoal-black "alligator skin" finish, beautifully hand-painted with gold leaf, forest green, and vibrant orange-red enamel highlights. Item Specifics & Condition Notes: Set Includes: One (1) electric table lamp base and two (2) matching decorative glass vases. Material: Heavy molded glass base with textured exterior paint/enamel finish. Hardware/Socket: Features a highly collectible, authentic antique brass Yost socket with its iconic branded black turn-key switch (visible in 23697.jpg and 23698.jpg). Condition: Excellent antique condition for its age. The glass itself is free of structural cracks or large chips. There is typical, honest vintage wear to the exterior textured painted surface, including minor scuffs, flakes, and paint loss along the high-relief areas and rims as shown in the photos. The smooth glass bottoms show gentle shelf wear (23703.jpg). Wiring: The lamp features its original period wiring and a vintage two-prong plug (23701.jpg). It has been tested and successfully powers on (23699.jpg), but as with all antique electrical items, rewiring or a safety inspection before regular use is recommended. (Bulb and shade are not included).
