Beautiful vintage hand-carved Asian/Chinese boxwood figural statue depicting the Happy Fertility Laughing Buddha (Budai/Hotei) surrounded by playful climbing children. A classic cultural symbol of wealth, joy, and good fortune, securely mounted to a dark-stained tiered wooden presentation plinth. PRODUCT DETAILS: - Subject: Laughing Buddha with Playful Children (Fertility Buddha) - Material: Hand-carved solid hardwood / boxwood - Presentation: Fixed to a dark-painted traditional stepped display base - Dimensions: Base measures approximately 3.5 inches wide (see ruler photos) - Provenance: Features an authentic vintage handwritten Chinese workshop label on the underside of the base.
