Vintage Chinese cast brass footed incense burner (censer) being sold AS IS for parts, repair, or rustic display. This piece features a removable lid topped with a detailed Qilin/mythical beast finial and a beautifully cast relief panel on the front depicting a traditional dragon. The underbelly features an authentic molded four-character seal mark reading "宣德年製" (Xuande Nian Zhi). PRODUCT DETAILS: - Material: Solid Cast Brass - Design: Mythical Beast Finial, Dragon Relief Panels, Footed Base - Base Mark: Historical 4-Character Xuande Reign Seal Mark CONDITION DETAILS (PLEASE READ): - This item is being sold AS IS due to damage. The side handle has broken off completely and is missing, leaving two visible attachment holes on the side panel (see close-up photos). - The interior of the lid and base features heavy, authentic black soot, old incense ash residue, and natural dark oxidation from genuine historical use. It has not been heavily scrubbed or polished to preserve its vintage integrity. - Otherwise shows a gorgeous, naturally aged exterior brass patina with normal minor tarnish and surface oxidation. Still serves as a wonderful decorative statement piece with great shelf presence from the front and verified base mark.
