Beautiful vintage hand-carved and hand-painted traditional Hopi Pueblo Katsina (Kachina) doll depicting "Tasavu" (The Navajo Clown / Navajo Helper).PRODUCT DETAILS:- Cultural Affiliation: Hopi Pueblo (Southwest Native American style)- Character: Tasavu (Navajo Clown / Katsina)- Features: Bright yellow face, distinctive projecting red snout, and a painted black star symbol on the side of the head.- Material: Solid hand-carved wood (traditionally Cottonwood root) with natural fiber fabric skirt, ribbon armbands, and a thick, fluffy white ruff/cape.- Dimensions: Measures approximately 9.75 inches tall total, including the wood display base.- Markings: Unsigned / anonymous artist.CONDITION DETAILS:- Excellent vintage condition with exceptionally bright, vibrant hand-painted details.- The thick white ruff, fabric waist wrap, and ribbon trim are clean and beautifully preserved on all sides.- No major splits, structural chips, or broken limbs.
