Up for sale is a gorgeous, authentic vintage 1930s-1940s color aquatint etching distributed by the Paris Etching Society and Turner Manufacturing Co. This piece is titled "The Abandoned Water Mill" by the listed French artist Pierre (Pierre Maulin). It features a beautiful pastoral river landscape with an old water mill, hand-colored with incredible fine details. Markings & Labels: - Hand-signed in pencil "Pierre" on the bottom right margin. - Marked with plate number "203" and the artist surname "Maulin" on the bottom left margin. - Features the authentic circular "SZL" (Sydney Z. Lucas) publisher stamp on the front. - Includes the original, intact paper gallery label on the backing paper confirming the title and distributor, alongside a secondary gold vintage "Turner Product" sticker. Condition: - Excellent vintage condition! - The print displays strong, beautiful colors with no visible water damage or major foxing. - Housed in its original ornate, beaded gold gilt wooden frame with double matting.
