Entirely hand-thrown and hand-painted, this piece represents the celebrated folk art traditions of Tonalá, Jalisco. The vase features a gorgeous matte, unglazed sand-textured background. The front showcases a beautifully stylized Tonala bird perched among traditional native floral motifs, painted in rich, classic tones of cobalt blue, dark brown, and forest green. The bottom features the prominent hand-painted signature of the recognized artisan, **J. Mora**, alongside the "MEX." origin mark.
