Up for sale is a beautiful vintage Southwestern studio art pottery vase from Grey Feather Pottery. This exceptional hand-painted piece features a classic hourglass / waisted shape with a lovely matte, sandy-textured tan body. The unglazed base is clearly hand-incised with the artist/studio signature "Grey Feather" alongside a copyright symbol and registration number (© 1785). The vase is wonderfully detailed and dynamic, displaying a different layout from every angle. The body features multiple stylized feathers—including a prominent, raised 3D-textured white eagle feather on one side and smooth, flat-painted black feathers on the reverse panels. The lower solid black base band is hand-etched with a sgraffito-style arrow symbol and an "X" track mark. It is the perfect accent piece for a bohemian shelf display, Western mantel, or a fine addition to a Southwestern pottery collection.
