Up for sale is a beautiful, authentic vintage studio art pottery weed pot / bud vase handcrafted by Born / Polly Pottery out of Boulder, Colorado. This lovely wheel-turned stoneware piece features a classic mid-century inspired spherical orb silhouette that tapers into an elegantly flared small-mouth rim. The smooth, terracotta clay underside features the distinct, stamped studio artisan signature reading "Polly / BOULDER, CO." The glaze application features a wonderful triple-layered earth tone palette. The top collar down to the shoulder is coated in a smooth oatmeal cream glaze, which flows organically into a warm golden-tan middle ring, before settling into a deep, dipped chocolate brown base. It is the perfect accent piece for a bohemian shelf display, a minimalist mantel, or a fine addition to a vintage Colorado studio craft collection.
