Up for sale is a gorgeous, matching pair of vintage Mid-Century Modern art glass vases, hand-blown in the famous Empoli region of Italy. These stunning pieces feature a vibrant aqua blue colorway with a dramatic bulbous base covered in distinct, raised "spiky" hobnail / raindrop nodules that catch the light beautifully. The bodies taper into elegant, long necks with fire-polished flared rims.The undersides feature authentic rough snapped pontil marks, proving their hand-crafted, artisan-blown lineage. They stand approximately 7.5 to 7.75 inches tall and make a spectacular symmetrical display on any mid-century modern credenza, mantel, or floating shelf.Condition:Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or structural damage.
