Up for sale is a beautiful, investment-grade studio art wood-turned bud vase / weed pot hand-crafted by artisan turner M. Solomon. This piece is turned from a solid log of Cypress wood, showcasing an incredible natural contrast between a rich, deep reddish-purple heartwood and bright amber sapwood.The bottom features full handwritten provenance markings from the maker: signed M. Solomon, identified as Cypress wood, and serialized/dated 090897-01 (crafted on September 8, 1997).The top portion is meticulously sculpted and polished to a smooth finish that makes the growth rings pop, while the wide bottom section retains its rugged, rustic natural tree bark for an organic, live edge look.Note: Because this vessel is crafted from natural solid wood, it is recommended strictly for dried florals, faux stems, or as a standalone sculptural display piece.
