Looks to be new/never used. Extremely rare 1972 vintage audio filmstrip / multimedia kit titled "The U.S. Naval Recruit Story" (Catalog No. NRS 972), produced by Multi-Sensory Systems, Inc. out of San Diego, California.The kit features a blueprint illustration of the USS Recruit (TDE-1) on the booklet cover. The USS Recruit was a famous 225-foot "landship" mock destroyer escort structures built at the San Diego Naval Training Center to train recruits without leaving the base. This kit was distributed as an educational or motivational recruitment tool during the final stages of the Vietnam War era.
