Up for sale is a beautiful vintage mid-century modern teak wood roll-top bread box manufactured by Kalmar Designs. The underside retains its original metallic factory label reading "Kalmar Designs – Teak Wood – Made in Thailand."This large countertop organizer features a classic tambour slatted rolling door that slides open smoothly to maximize kitchen counter space. Crafted from durable, highly grained authentic teak wood, it brings a clean Scandinavian modern or Danish style aesthetic to any home kitchen.Condition:The exterior wood finish is in good vintage condition with minor surface scuffs. The interior storage compartment shows some expected signs of age and cosmetic use, including a lighter patch/faded wear area across the inner back panel. The structure remains completely solid and fully functional with a smooth rolling mechanism and no broken slats.
