New Sealed Disney California Adventure Grand Opening Cast Member Coin 2001 Rare -New Sealed Disney California Adventure Grand Opening Cast Member Coin 2001 Rare Condition – Sealed Disney California Adventure Grand Opening Cast Medallion RARE opening day Cast Exclusive medallion in brand new, mint, sealed condition. Coin is still sealed in its original clear plastic capsule and has never been opened or handled directly. Commemorative card with printed signatures remains intact; any minor edge or surface wear is from long-term storage only. Medallion came out of the cardboard “frame” during photography, but the capsule remains sealed and the coin untouched. Graphics, logos, and text remain crisp and vibrant, protected from air and handling for over two decades. Items were stored in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment. The large gold-tone coin features the original 2001 Disney’s California Adventure logo and opening-year design, encapsulated on a commemorative card that includes printed signatures from then Parks & Resorts Chairman Paul Pressler and Disneyland Resort President Cynthia Harriss. As the second gate at the Disneyland Resort, early Disney’s California Adventure has changed dramatically over time, making sealed, day-one Cast Member pieces like this a highly desirable time capsule of the park’s original era.
