Addressed to Mrs. E. Frank Brown, R.R., Connersville, Indiana:"Dear Cousin Stella - This is the view from our cabin. Isn't it lovely? I am up here for 2 weeks & then in Duluth for a couple of days and home by Aug 15th. Hope to get down to C'ville for a day or two after that. Hope you are well. A rustic wooden picnic table is visible, nestled among the trees on the left side of the grounds. The image features crisp, handwritten photo-engraved text directly on the negative in the lower right corner: "Camp Ground Near Three Lakes, Wis."Postal: Features a crisp, circular machine postmark from Eagle River, Wis. dated Aug 1 1941, and an intact, green 1-Cent "For Defense" Industry-Agriculture stamp (Scott #900).
