Capture the quintessential charm of the Roaring Twenties with this authentic antique Art Deco boudoir presentation box. The lid features a striking lithograph portrait of a classic flapper girl set against a vivid, geometric repeating pattern of peacock feathers.Inside, the box contains its original, untouched contents securely pinned to the gold-accented display insert: a fine purple, green, and white plaid vintage handkerchief alongside a matching pair of ruched pink satin stocking garters finished with petite ribbon bows. Adding to its singular history, the bottom base retains a delicate handwritten pencil inscription: "Last gift from Grandmother Nelson."Condition & Flaws:This 100-year-old set shows authentic vintage character:Lid: Displays edge and corner wear, including a distinct patch of surface paper loss on the upper right side near the portrait.Base: Shows typical age-toning and a small structural break/crease along the side lip. Pencil handwriting remains entirely legible.Contents: The handkerchief and pink satin garters are remarkably clean. Please note the internal elastic has stiffened over the past century, as is standard for antique rubber.
