Here's a lovely piece of sewing history: an antique sterling silver thimble by Simons Brothers Company, a respected Philadelphia silversmith known for fine thimbles since the 1800s. This one is marked with the December 3, 1889 patent date and sized as a 9. In good condition overall, showing honest wear consistent with age including some surface scratches and light dulling to the silver, but no dents or damage to the structure.
