Emerging during the famed 1970s Southwest design revival, Gene is widely recognized for his masterful execution of the labor-intensive chip inlay technique. This collectible cuff showcases a vibrant mosaic of crushed green turquoise and brick-red coral chip inlay, meticulously set into hand-carved silver channels to form iconic Peyote Bird (Water Bird) imagery. The artistic composition is beautifully framed by traditional hand-stamped sunburst accents along the border. Inside the band, the cuff is authenticated with Gibson Gene’s signature Peyote Bird pictograph hallmark.Product Specifications:• Artisan: Signed with the pictograph hallmark of Gibson Gene (Navajo / Diné)• Era: Circa 1970s• Material: Solid Sterling Silver (.925)• Gemstones: Genuine Turquoise & Red Coral Mosaic Chip Inlay• Weight: 20.55 grams• Width: 10mm• Diameter: 2.25 inches (Inner diameter)Condition:Excellent vintage condition with a gorgeous, dark natural patina inside the hand-stamped recesses.
