Antique Stonebridge Folding Lantern manufactured by C.H. Stonebridge Mfg. Co., New York City, USA. This early 20th-century folding candle lantern features its original collapsible design, allowing it to fold flat for transport and storage. The top panel is embossed: THE “STONEBRIDGE” FOLDING LANTERN PAT. NO. 1152571 C.H. STONEBRIDGE MFG CO. N.Y.C. MADE IN U.S.A. The lantern retains its original metal construction, wire handle, and mica window panels. A desirable collectible piece of early American camping, railroad, industrial, and outdoor lighting history.
