Rare vintage Nebraska Cornhuskers 1971 National Champions commemorative collector plate featuring legendary head coach Bob Devaney and the team’s championship season schedule. The reverse displays the complete 1971 season results and Orange Bowl victory over Alabama on January 1, 1972. This limited edition series was created by Edward Lawrence and this example is individually numbered #8, making it an especially early-numbered production piece. Front features a detailed football scene with “Nebraska Cornhuskers 1971 National Champions” lettering. Reverse includes Bob Devaney portrait, season schedule, championship information, limited edition numbering, and factory markings.
