Vintage Nissan NE-5850 AM/FM cassette car stereo manufactured in Japan by Fortune Star Prod. Corp. The face is Nissan branded and features an analog AM/FM tuner, cassette player with Auto Reverse, and a distinctive 10-band graphic equalizer with frequencies marked from 60Hz through 10kHz. Rear identification label reads: Nissan Model No. NE-5850 Made in Japan Fortune Star Prod. Corp. 12V Negative Ground Serial No. 003412 An original installation/wiring instruction label remains attached to the metal housing. IMPORTANT CONDITION / TESTING INFORMATION THIS UNIT IS UNTESTED. It was not connected to a vehicle, battery, or external power supply. Because the unit has not been powered on, the seller cannot verify any electrical or mechanical functions. The working status of the AM/FM radio, cassette transport, auto-reverse mechanism, equalizer, illumination, buttons, switches, and other components is unknown. The metal chassis has visible oxidation/surface rust and general age/storage wear. The wiring shows previous modification/splicing and exposed/cut wire ends. Please examine the photos closely. Some external knobs, mounting pieces, wiring/connectors, or other components necessary for installation may be absent. No vehicle compatibility is guaranteed.
