Vintage early-generation GoPro Digital HERO action camera, believed to be a Digital HERO 3 model from approximately 2007.This is an early GoPro design from before the later HERO/HERO2/HERO3 Black & Silver camera generations.The camera uses AAA batteries and features the classic silver GoPro HERO body with front LCD display, optical viewfinder, and fixed lens.Included is a clear protective/waterproof housing along with a large adjustable suction-cup mounting assembly.TESTINGCamera was tested with batteries.* Powers on* LCD display activates* Red indicator light illuminates* Buttons respond sufficiently to power the unit* No additional operational testing performedThe camera was not tested with an SD memory card, computer, USB cable, or other accessories.Ability to record, save, transfer, or play back photos/video has not been verified.Because of the age and physical condition of the camera, it is being sold based only on the limited testing described above.CONDITION DETAILSCamera shows substantial cosmetic wear consistent with age and previous use, including:* Scratches and scuffs* Paint/finish loss* Edge wear* Visible cracks in the camera’s plastic body* Wear around controls and battery compartment* General age-related cosmetic wearBattery compartment opens and batteries can be installed.The clear housing and mounting hardware show normal age/use wear.The suction cup has not been tested on a vehicle or other surface and its ability to maintain suction is not guaranteed.The clear housing has not been pressure or water tested.
