Size and condition above come from the listing. The description below is the seller’s own text.
Framed oil painting depicting two expressive beagle puppies against a softly blended green background. Warm brown, cream and black tones bring out the dogs’ faces, with visible brushwork adding texture and character. The painting is signed “Akke Dontje” in the lower-right corner. Please see the close-up photographs of the signature. Painted in oil on a canvas-covered rigid board. The reverse retains the manufacturer’s CrafTint All Purpose Panels marking and the original 12 × 16-inch size designation. The “acrylic primed canvas” wording on the reverse refers to the preparation of the painting surface, not the paint used for the artwork. Presented in a wooden frame with a weathered finish. A hanging wire is attached to the reverse. The artwork is offered based on its visible signature. No certificate of authenticity or documented ownership history is included, and attribution has not been independently authenticated. MEASUREMENTS • Canvas board: 12 inches wide × 16 inches high • Overall framed dimensions: approximately 13.5 inches wide × 17 inches high1921
