Vintage 1964 Submarine Squadron Twelve wall calendar featuring black-and-white printed images of U.S. Navy submarines and a submarine rescue vessel. Complete January–December calendar, with all 12 monthly sheets still fastened to the backing by two staples. The backing features USS Bushnell (AS-15), the slogan “We Tend the Best Submarines in the Fleet,” and emblems for Submarine Force U.S. Atlantic Fleet, USS Bushnell, and Submarine Squadron Twelve. Monthly images include: January — USS Atule (SS-403) February — USS Chopper (SS-342) March — USS Grenadier (SS-525) April — USS Threadfin (SS-410) May — USS Tirante (SS-420) June — USS Trutta (SS-421) July — USS Picuda (SS-382) August — USS Quillback (SS-424) September — USS Sea Cat (SS-399) October — USS Sea Poacher (SS-406) November — USS Penguin (ASR-12) December — USS Mackerel (SST-1), USS Marlin (SST-2), and USS Barracuda (SST-3) CONDITION DETAILS The backing has substantial damage, particularly along the upper and right edges, with tears and missing sections. Additional wear includes creases, worn corners, discoloration, and scattered spots. The monthly sheets remain attached and are in better condition than the backing. They show yellowing/toning, scattered surface marks, and handling wear. This calendar is not in mint condition. The ship images are printed illustrations, not separate photographic prints. Please examine all photographs, including close-ups of the damaged backing and monthly sheets. You will receive the exact calendar shown. No frame or additional accessories are included.1932
