<p>RARE Shakespeare's Sonnet 18 by Alan Blackman 1967 Bill Graham Era Poster. </p><br /><p>"Haight Ashbury artist Alan Blackman's statement on the passion of Shakespeare and the blandness of modern advertising. A Perfect example of typography of the era adding to the sweetness of the famous romantic sonnet by William Shakespeare." Great typography.</p><br /><p>Size. 16"h x 22.5 on thick stock paper.</p><br /><p>The poster has some condition issues. There are pinholes along the border, and in the corners, some creasing, especially on the edges. There are 3 holes in the body and a few staple marks and a small tear on the right side border Please see the many pictures for details.</p><br /><p>This poster comes out of the Velvet Underground / Sanford’s clothing store in San Francisco in the 1960s. It is an original poster and hung on the wall in the store.</p>
