Kid SheikBy Louise MoutonSixteenth in the series by Louise Mouton. The banner of notes diagonally dissecting the image is the chorus of the song, "Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans." Above the banner is a collage of items from the by-gone days of 78's and bits of New Orleans architecture. On the lower left is Kid Sheik, 88 years young at the time of the print's release, whose trumpet traced the arc of New Orleans Jazz almost from its birth.The poster is a limited edition 11,383/12,500The piece is currently framed and can ship framed if you would like. I can also remove the poster from the frame and ship in a 4" sturdy cardboard tube. If I ship in the tube the cost will be about $9.00. If I ship framed I will charge calculated shipping (so it is just the USPS cost to ship to your zip code). Let me know before purchase if you want me to ship in the tube and I'll adjust the listing. ****The frame shows a few light marks along the edges/corners. It is plexiglass/pressed board and professionally done. There is a little glare on the plexiglass in some of the photos. It's just a reflection.
