<p>Original first-printing Family Dog FD-124 poster featuring Kaleidoscope, Mother Earth, and Country Weather at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, June 21–23, 1968.</p><br /><p>Designed by Patrick Lofthouse, this is known as the “Pop-Up Poster,” with die-cut figures intended to create a dimensional display. This copy has not been folded into the pop-up configuration.</p><br /><p>Measures approximately 14 × 21½ inches.</p><br /><p>This piece comes from The Velvet Underground/Sanford’s clothing stores in San Francisco.</p><br /><p>Condition:</p><p>Vintage condition with multiple corner pinholes, some enlarged or torn, edge wear, small nicks, corner creasing, and surface scuffs. A horizontal line is visible across the central artwork. Back has age toning, light staining and soiling, small handwritten markings, and a small square of tape or adhesive residue near one corner. Pink and turquoise colors remain bright. Please examine all photos carefully.</p>
