Original first-run 1969 Family Dog Revival concert poster advertising The Mothers of Invention, Sir Douglas Quintet, and Pacific Gas & Electric at Winterland in San Francisco, January 17–18, 1969.Striking red, blue, and black design by San Andreas Fault, with a central photograph of two costumed dogs. Features the phrases “Give Me That Good Old Time Religion” and “Miracles.”Also lists Jerry Abrams Head Lights and “guest evangelist” Peter Albin of Big Brother & the Holding Company.• Poster identification: FD W-2 / FD-690117• Artist: San Andreas Fault• Approximate size: 11 × 27 inches• Original full-size concert poster, not a handbillFrom a collection of original 1960s posters hung in the Velvet Underground / Sanford’s clothing stores in San Francisco to advertise upcoming shows.Will be carefully packed and shipped rolled in a sturdy mailing tube.CONDITION: Vintage poster with age toning and darkening, particularly around the borders, along with scattered light marks and surface wear. There is a missing section at the lower-right corner affecting the edge of the “Miracles” lettering, with an adjacent diagonal crease. Other wear includes a small tear and creasing near the upper-left edge, minor edge nicks, and corner wear. There is some tape residue on the back that does not affect the front of the poster.The central photograph and most of the lettering remain intact, with strong colors and good visual presentation. Please review all photos carefully for the complete condition.
