Original first-run 1969 “Wild West” psychedelic poster featuring artwork by Wes Wilson and Victor Moscoso.Striking winged-horse image with stylized lettering in yellow and orange against a turquoise-to-purple background.Measures approximately 20 × 9 inches. This piece appears to be the upper artwork section of the larger Wild West benefit concert poster. The printed lower section containing the performers and concert information is not present. Offered as a possibly trimmed original poster, rather than a verified separate-issued version.Black handwritten lettering reads “Aug 22–24” and “Golden Gate Park,” referring to the planned August 1969 Wild West festival. The writing may have been added for display at the time, but its age and authorship have not been verified. From a collection of original 1960s posters hung in the Velvet Underground / Sanford’s clothing stores in San Francisco to advertise upcoming shows. Will be carefully packed and shipped rolled in a sturdy mailing tube.CONDITION: Appears trimmed, with the lower printed concert-information section absent. Handwritten date and location information on the front. Also shows light edge and corner wear, small corner chips, minor creasing, and scattered surface scuffs and marks. The surviving artwork remains largely intact with vivid colors. Please examine all photographs closely for condition.
