Up for sale is a Salvatore Ferragamo 21-2181 structured Gancini top-handle handbag. This bag includes its full original matching paperwork, which consists of the signature Salvatore Ferragamo care card and the factory quality control registration card. The registration card explicitly details the following factory specifications for this exact piece: * Collection Season: A.I. 94 (Autunno/Inverno / Autumn/Winter 1994) * Model: Mod. 21-2181/40 * Batch Code: BO 2161819 * Material: VITELLO -B- (Calfskin leather) * Color Code: BLEU 0822 The color is an incredibly deep midnight navy blue that looks near-black indoors but shows its subtle blue undertone under direct natural sunlight. Condition Details Exterior Leather The exterior calfskin leather is in excellent vintage condition with a rigid structure. The bag retains its beautiful, firm, boxy shape. The back panel is smooth, and the top handle is strong and symmetrical. Please note there are standard, very faint scratches, and age-related creasing on the exterior leather surface consistent with normal vintage care and age. I have tried documenting these details in the pictures as closely as possible. Color & Finish The exterior finish has been conditioned and refreshed to beautifully restore the original tone and enhance the true depth of the midnight navy blue colorway. Hardware The hardware is in great vintage shape and remains mainly pretty shiny and highly reflective. The 24k gold-electroplated Gancini front turn-lock, side D-rings, and accents display standard micro-scratches and some minor areas of light plating loss due to age. I have tried documenting these hardware areas in the pictures as closely as possible. Accordion Sides The accordion sides are firm and strongly structured, helping the bag stand up sharply on its own. One side panel displays a slight, natural asymmetrical lean consistent with vintage use and opening the bag over time. Interior The interior is completely clean. There is no sticky residue, no flaking, and no tears. However, please note that the lining displays obvious surface scratching and textural pitting throughout. It is fully stable and ready for use. I tried my best to capture the condition of the inside. Accessories Note Please note this listing is for the top-handle bag and the two cards only. The long detachable shoulder strap is not included. Dimensions The bag measures approximately 20cm x 27cm x 10cm (roughly 7.8" x 10.6" x 3.9").
