This is a beautiful vintage silverplated over brass water pitcher, clearly marked on the bottom with an original plastic sticker: INTERNATIONAL HAND MADE Silverplated INDIA SILVER (with a distinctive four-leaf/cross logo). The piece fits the Hollywood Regency style—a glamorous, opulent mid-century look that celebrates traditional forms. This piece is quite heavy for its size, confirming the solid brass core. The pitcher weighs approximately 1 pound 10 ounces. The silverplating has extensive age and wear, resulting in a beautiful two-tone patina where the brass base metal shows through, adding to its antique, dramatic charm. The original plastic sticker on the bottom is still present but is partially lifted/coming off. The symbol on the sticker is the manufacturer's trade logo for this specific line of hand-made Indian silverplate.
