Vintage Stanley Handyman H304 upholstery tack hammer. This classic American-made tool features a 5 oz forged steel head with the distinctive horseshoe split end designed for holding tacks, paired with a solid wood handle featuring a clear, legible Stanley stamped logo. Please Note: The original magnetic charge on the split tip has faded over time and the head is not currently magnetic. The hammer head displays an authentic vintage appearance with surface rust, oxidation, and pitting from age and previous workshop use, but it remains structurally solid. The wooden handle has a great aged patina with minor scuffs, light paint speckles, and remnants of its original paper label on the back. The head is tightly secured to the handle with the original wedge, making it an excellent piece for a tool restoration project, a functional workbench user, or a nice addition to a classic Stanley display. Condition Notes Not magnetic — the original magnetic charge has worn off with age. Surface rust, minor pitting, and oxidation present on the metal head. Wood handle shows minor scuffs, paint transfer spots, and a partial original paper label. Structurally sound with a tight head-to-handle fit.
