Condition Notes Surface rust is present across the sole, sides, and blade. The blue finish shows some wear and dust from storage but remains mostly intact. Mechanically complete with the adjustable throat lever, front knob, cutter iron, and polished knuckle-joint lever cap. Ready for a restoration or cleanup to put back to work. Description This is a vintage Stanley block plane, stamped Made in England on the bed casting along with the foundry mark C.F. 5. Dating from around the 1970s or 1980s, it features a solid vintage blue painted body, a black front knob, and a polished knuckle-joint lever cap that snaps down securely. The whole thing measures approximately 6.5 inches in length. It comes equipped with an adjustable mouth lever at the front for throat gap adjustments. Perfect vintage addition to any workshop, tool collection, or restoration project. Please examine the photos carefully to evaluate the exact cosmetic condition.
