Size and condition above come from the listing. The description below is the seller’s own text.
Vintage solid Gorham sterling silver open sugar bowl (model 912) and matching creamer pitcher (model 913) set in the classic English Gadroon pattern. This elegant, unweighted set features beautiful round bodies accented by a distinctive rope-style gadroon border around the upper shoulders and ornate scroll handles. The pieces are fully hallmarked on the bottom with the Gorham manufacturer marks, "Sterling," and their respective model numbers. The combined weight of the set is a substantial 172.71 grams (Creamer: 85.43g, Sugar: 87.28g) of solid .925 silver. The open sugar bowl measures approximately 5.5 inches from handle to handle and stands 2.5 inches tall, while the creamer measures 5 inches from spout to handle and stands 2.75 inches tall. Both pieces retain a lovely, bright high-polish finish. There are a few minor, shallow soft dings on the lower bodies from gentle use over the years (highlighted in the photos), along with light surface micro-scratches typical of antique estate silver. A beautiful addition to an afternoon tea service or a silver collection. Sold as-is, as-seen in photos
