"Up for auction/sale is a beautiful vintage pair of porcelain wildlife cabinet display/decor plates featuring the art of R.K. Beck, circ.1915.These feature detailed forest scenes with bucks and deer, complete with classic gold scalloped rims.The Artist signature is clearly visible on the front artwork."These plates are for display/decorating only and are not meant for food. **CONDITION DETAILS (PLEASE READ BEFORE BUYING):**These plates are being sold AS-IS with clear signs of vintage wear and age. Please review the photos carefully.* **Structural Condition:** Structurally sound with NO chips, cracks, or repairs to the porcelain body. * **Front Art:** One plate has a visible hairline crack/split in the paint/transfer image layer only (does not go through the actual plate). * **Gold Rims:** Significant wear and paint loss to the gold gilt around the scalloped edges of both plates.* **Reverse Side:** Glaze crazing (spiderweb network of lines in the glaze) is present on the backs of both plates. **Approximate Measurements:*** 10 inches x 1 inch height. These are fantastic rustic decor pieces for a cabin, lodge, or gallery wall or just decorating for the holidays. These plates are for display only and are not meant for food.
