Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible set of four (4) completed vintage "The Wizard of Oz" Christmas tree ornaments. These were meticulously hand-crafted from the iconic 1975 Bucilla jeweled needlecraft kit #2113, titled "Dorothy & Friends."This vintage release includes the four primary characters exactly as the kit was originally manufactured (Toto the dog was not a part of this 1970s kit release):- Dorothy: Features sweet blonde braided yarn hair, a red jeweled dress, and sparkling faux-diamond rhinestones on her famous red ruby slippers.- The Tin Man: Shimmers with full silver sequins, a bright red sequin heart, and carries his hand-stitched felt axe.- The Scarecrow: Detailed with whimsical yellow yarn "straw" peeking out from his patches and floppy hat.- The Cowardly Lion: Adorned with a dense, detailed looped-yarn mane and custom facial embroidery.Each ornament is hand-stitched from vibrant colored felt, heavily embellished with high-quality vintage sequins and beads, stuffed with light batting for a 3D effect, and includes its original gold hanging cord.Condition: Excellent Vintage Condition. Expertly assembled by the original crafter. The felt remains clean and vibrant with no fading, odors, or staining. All beadwork and sequins are securely intact.
