Up for sale is a gorgeous, complete pair of vintage PM Craftsman (Philadelphia Manufacturing Company) acanthus leaf bookends. Featuring a classic, ornate Hollywood Regency botanical design, these heavy bookends are crafted from substantial hand-cast metal with a beautiful antiqued brass finish. The back lower edge of the pieces is officially stamped with the authentic model marking "MADE IN U.S.A. 92B" alongside the PM copyright insignia.Condition Details:- Complete pair in excellent vintage condition overall.- Both pieces retain their original, bright red felt bottoms and the classic gold foil "PM" maker's labels fully intact.- The antiqued brass finish looks beautiful with excellent luster. Normal patina and wear of the brass finish with a piece of this age. There is only one tiny, minuscule chip in the finish at the very top crest of one bookend (noted for absolute accuracy, very difficult to see when displayed on a shelf).
