I have such a soft spot for Kokopelli pieces, and this set is exactly why. There is something so playful and unmistakably Southwestern about that little flute player — jewelry with personality, history and a story behind it. The star is the large 2” sterling silver Kokopelli pendant. I love the movement in this one — the dimensional body, flute, headdress and etched details make him look almost like he’s dancing.The matching Kokopelli earrings have beautiful turquoise accents, which give just enough color without taking away from all that silver.I actually added a 23-inch thick solid sterling silver chain because I wanted this pendant to sit the way a substantial Kokopelli should. A delicate little chain just wasn’t doing it for me.
