Note: I'm selling dozens of issues of Fortune magazine from the 1930s to the 1950s. Discounted $1 shipping on each additional issue purchased at the same time. Here's a vintage issue of Fortune magazine, published by Time, Inc. (See publication details below). This listing is for a single issue the one shown in the listing title and photos. Includes Fortune Round Table insert. Issue takes a deep look inside various facets of the auto industry.Notable: An article on migration from Africa features 26 panels from twenty-six panels Jacob Lawrences Migration Series. This represented an unprecedented level of national exposure for an African-American artist, whose portrait accompanies the article. While the initial page of art panels shows some browning, the other 6 pages are clean, with at most faint browning along the edges.Condition: Complete with no significant water damage, smells, or other major issues. Covers and spine are generally good, though show some scuffs and tears. Inside pages show significant browning on uncoated newsprint (though they are not brittle). May also show minor wear from handling. Please see photos to evaluate the outside and for representative condition of the inside pages. Message me with any questions prior to purchase.About Fortune Magazine: This upscale publication distinguished itself with high-quality paper, artistic covers, full-color photography, and pioneering business journalism. Each issue analyzes the most successful corporations, examines societal and political trends, and profiles key players. Top writers and photographers contributed to the upscale ($1 per issue) magazine, which features advertisements rarely seen in mass media as they were targeted to top executives and high-net-worth professionals.Shipping: Save on multiple issues purchased at the same time each additional ships for just $1 more.
